Secretariat offices: Jeju & Menorca

Installing secretariat offices in Jeju (Republic of Korea) and Menorca (Spain) was decided at the at the first international Network meeting (Menorca 2012). Technical secretariat offices of the Network are given the mission to coordinate and support the network activities, to organize and manage the research activities, and to run the education and training program for the biosphere reserve managers. Jeju secretariat is devoted to the research area on climate change while Menorca on sustainable development. Support for the Network activities are carried out in close cooperation under the leadership of UNESCO headquarters.
