61 members of the Network representing 48 Biosphere Reserves located in 33 different countries will meet in Menorca next May.

48 biosphere reserves will participate in the next VIII meeting of the network

61 members of the Network representing 48 Biosphere Reserves located in 33 different countries will meet in Menorca next May to share strategies for adapting to climate change in islands and coastal areas, define a work plan for 2018- 2022, and exchange experiences of sustainable development at the local level.

Participant biosphere reserves:

Archipiélago de Colón-Galápagos, Baconao, Blekinge Archipelago, Buenavista, Cabo de Hornos, Comander Islands, Cozumel, El Hierro, Fajas de Sao Jorge, Fundy, Graciosa Island, Gran Canaria, Gochang, Gourith Cluster, Ilha das Flores, Isla de Ometepe, Isle of Man, Island of Príncipe, Jozani-Chwaka Bay, Jeju, Juan Fernández Archipelago & Campana Peñuelas, Komodo, La Gomera, La Palma, La Selle, Lanzarote, Madeira, Mata Atlantica, Mariñas Coruñesas e Terras do Mandeo, Macizo de Anaga, Macizo del Cajas, Macchabee/Bel Ombre, Menorca, Noroeste-Amotapes-Manglares, Palawan, Patagonia Azul, Península de Guanahacabibes, Reserva de la Biosfera de Isla del Corvo, Reserva intercontinental del Mediterráneo, Sahamalaza Iles Radama, Snake Island, Socotra, St Mary's, Terres de l'Ebre, The Archipelago Sea Biosphere Reserve, Urdaibai, Wadden Sea of Lower Saxony, West Estonian Archipelago
