Ecological restoration of the islet of Praia (Graciosa BR)

The restoration of habitat conducive to the reproduction of seabirds has involved various phases such as the eradication of rabbits and the control of vegetation. Following the application of these measures, seabirds have returned to breed on the islet of Praia, including the Monteiro's storm-petrel, the only endemic seabird in the Azores.
