In this study, an index was applied to evaluate functional diversity that also takes into account functional redundancy. The lowest value of functional diversity was found in highly disturbed spaces and the highest in slightly disturbed spaces. These results confirmed that in the least disturbed spaces the individuals were distributed more uniformly in the species and, these, in the functional types, which gives the forest greater redundancy and functional resilience.
