Outer Islands Project (Georgian Bay BR)

Initiative to maintain and restore campsites on offshore islands in the Parry Sound region. It involves the installation and relocation of wilderness latrines (thunder boxes) on more popular sites, as well as dismantling open fire pits as these islands can’t sustain multiple campfires in the dry summer season.
